Definitely Not Botting

Definitely Not Botting is a game about an MMORPG, where instead of playing the game itself you plan to bot it. The game takes place in a simulated environment reminiscent of early 2000s computers and includes various programs that facilitate your interaction with the internal game. Your job is to write scripts and use these tools at your disposal to control your bot. Move between zones, fight monsters, collect and process resources, and level up.

What's in the current build

• Bot Client: Create bots, assign scripts to bots, control their state, view their activities.
• Scripting Language: A small language used to interact with the MMORPG via the botting client
• Game Simulation: An emulated MMORPG world for you to interact with. Currently includes 3 zones, 2 monsters, and 2 resources
• Text Editor: Enables editing of scripts in game
• Terminal: Allows various in game functions without running a script

This is pre-alpha and there are likely many bugs, or features that you expect to exist but are nonfunctional at the time.

People who enjoy idle/incremental games, of course, as well as anyone interested in programming, from just started learning to life long enthusiasts. Anybody who enjoys MMORPGs or the nostalgia around the "golden age" of MMORPGs
